About AstroLegal.

AstroLegal registers, maintains and protects EU trade marks for businesses around the world. It has worked since 2021, with its registered office in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria (Spain), and offices in Los Angeles, Istanbul and Viterbo. Every file is handled by a lawyer qualified in a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA), as Article 120 of Regulation (EU) 2017/1001 requires for representation before the EUIPO.

Who we work for

Mostly businesses based outside the EEA, which must be represented before the EUIPO after filing: companies from the United States and other non-EEA countries, many of them Amazon sellers who need an EU trade mark for Brand Registry. The guide to EU trade mark representation explains the rule.

We also work for Italian businesses. They need no representative, but they want someone to watch their trade mark, act against counterfeits and keep track of renewal deadlines.

How we work

• One lawyer per file. The lawyer assigned to your trade mark is named in the email you receive after your request, and follows the file from then on.
• Signed opinions. No bots and no automated filings: every opinion carries the signature of the lawyer who wrote it.
• Public prices. Our prices include taxes, and the EUIPO fees are paid by you directly to the Office.
• No payment before acceptance. You pay only after you have received and accepted our proposal, and nothing renews automatically.
• Two languages. We work in English and Italian, and we reply in writing, by email.

Our numbers

• More than 100 trade marks managed since 2021, for clients from the United States to Australia.
• Seven working days: within seven working days of the payment of our quote, we prepare the application and send it to you for approval and payment of the EUIPO fees.
• Fewer than 2% of the applications AstroLegal has filed since 2021 have received an opposition. Every new application starts with a pre-registrability study that checks prior rights before filing. Past results do not guarantee the outcome of a new application.
