Registering an EU trade mark with AstroLegal costs from €1,215 in the first year for one class: €75 for the pre-registrability study, €0 for our registration fee, €850 in EUIPO fees and €290 for the first year of the Base plan. All prices include taxes, and EUIPO fees are paid directly to the Office. This page sets out the costs for one, two and three classes, the renewal fees and the annual maintenance plans.
How much does it cost to register an EU trade mark?
The first-year cost of an EU trade mark depends on the number of classes, because only the EUIPO fee changes: €850 for one class, €900 for two and €1,050 for three. AstroLegal charges no registration fee, and the study and the first year of maintenance cost the same for every application.

Each additional class adds €150 in EUIPO fees. The €75 study is due even if the outcome is negative, because it covers the legal opinion issued. The first year of maintenance is required for the free registration.
How much does it cost to renew an EU trade mark?
An EU trade mark is registered for ten years from the filing date and can be renewed for further ten-year periods (Article 52 of Regulation (EU) 2017/1001). The EUIPO renewal fee is €850 for one class, €900 for two and €1,050 for three, plus €150 for each further class. Renewal can be requested in the six months before expiry or, with a 25% surcharge of up to €1,500, in the six months that follow (Article 53). Every AstroLegal maintenance plan includes monitoring of the renewal deadline.
How much do AstroLegal maintenance plans cost?
AstroLegal offers three annual plans for EU trade mark maintenance: Base at €290, Professional at €590 and Unlimited at €2,300 a year, taxes and fees included. Every plan covers 12 months of representation before the EUIPO, and nothing renews automatically: each year starts only after you confirm and pay in advance.
